LEGACY CONNECT USB
LEGACY Connect USB is a USB wireless network drive, that enables you to network your machinery and send files via the local network and USB port.
QUICK AND EASY SET UP
Setting up LEGACY Connect USB is simple and requires no technical expertise:
Power On Plug in the device and turn it on
Connect to WiFi – Using your phone or PC, connect to the LEGACY Connect WiFi network
Enter Network Details Open the LEGACY Connect web page, select your preferred WiFi network, and enter the password
Network Ready LEGACY Connect USB will now be connected to your local WiFi
Map the Drive On your PC, enter the provided network address and map the shared folder for easy access
Transfer Files Power down the device, plug it into your legacy machine, and start transferring files instantly!
No complicated setup Just plug, connect, and transfer.
OTHER USES FOR LEGACY CONNECT
When developing LEGACY Connect, we initially invisioned this for use on legacy machines where networking wasn’t an option.
However, it’s uses do not end there. There are many reasons why this could be beneficial.
You may not want to spend thousands of pounds networking your existing machines. You might be considering making the switch from G-Code and would like to test CAD/CAM before committing. Or, if you have other tech, such as a 3D printer, and it would be helpful to send files wirelessly.
CONSIDERATIONS OF USE FOR LEGACY CONNECT
We have tested LEGACY Connect on several CNC Machines, and it works on Haas Classic Control, older generation machines with USB, Hurco & Siemens 828D. Generally this will work if your machine has a USB port.
Unfortunately, this does not work with Haas Next Gen Controller.
If you bought LEGACY Connect, and it is not compatible, we will issue a refund (subject to T&Cs).
